Reserve a Locker

  2. The amount of beef you would like - Whole, Half or Quarter

  3. Available delivery dates. 

Customize Your Order

We will deliver the steers to your locker on the date you selected and email you an invoice for the balance due (minus deposit).

 

Now it is time to customize your order with a processing request! - 

  • Thickness of steaks

  • Size of roasts

  • Pounds of hamburger per package

  • Vacuum pack or paper wrap... etc.

Butcher's Cuts

How much meat should I expect to receive?

Typically after slaughter and once the head, hide, internal organs, and lower legs are removed, a carcass typically weighs from 800-1000 pounds. This is referred to as the "Hanging Weight" of the carcass. There is a $3.00/lb charge for the beef itself from "Hanging Weight", as well as a charge of approximately $1.00/lb charge for the Meat Processing.

There will be loss of weight from removing the bones from the carcass, as well as trimming off excess fat. Once that process is complete, there is roughly 65% of the "Hanging Weight" remaining that you will take home.

From there we offer 3 reservation options: 

  • 1/4 Beef Reservation: 200 - 250 lbs

    • Cost of Beef: $600 - $750

    • Cost of Processing: $200 - $250

    • Total Cost: $800 - $1000

  • 1/2 Beef Reservation: 400 - 500 lbs

    • Cost of Beef: $1200 - $1500

    • Cost of Processing: $400 - $500

    • Total Cost: $1600 - $2000

  • Whole Beef Reservation: 800 - 1000 lbs

    • Cost of Beef: $2400 - $3000

    • Cost of Processing: $800 - $1,000

    • Total Cost: $3200 - $4000
